An accredited Level 3 BTEC course designed for dispensing staff, clinical technicians, contact lens assistants and lab technicians has been launched by Specsavers.
The multiple said the course provided a more relevant offering to support the professional development of colleagues to benefit patients, careers and business growth.
Grant Duncan (pictured), director of professional development at Specsavers, said: ‘This new course structure allows you to “Build your own BTEC” by selecting the job role most applicable to you. Like the previous Cert 3, it will continue to be a blended learning, flexible format and deliver the same industry-leading development that Cert 3 is known for.’
