Specsavers has announced details of a new global platform linking customers’ vision and hearing information with the retail side of the business.
A new electronic patient record (EPR) tool has been built by major US provider eClinicalWorks, after signing a deal to work internationally with the multiple chain.
The cloud-based platform would be used to hold patients’ optical records and link into Specsavers’ product data, CRM, finance and store ordering systems, a joint statement said.
It had multi-language capabilities to be rolled out globally in all of Specsavers’ 1,700 stores in 10 countries, starting with an implementation in New Zealand before reaching European markets including the UK.
