Specsavers marks achievements of its newly qualified staff

Specsavers has marked the achievements of its newly qualified Level 4 Certificate optical dispensers and hearing care assistants at a graduation ceremony attended by the company’s co-founder Dame Mary Perkins.

Nearly 1,000 dispensing assistants have now gained the Optical Dispensing qualification since it was set up by Specsavers four years ago.

Dame Mary said: ‘It is an extraordinary time of change for our industry. We are on the cusp of a major revolution as we continue to expand the healthcare services we offer. Just as we’ve always done, we will embrace the challenges and opportunities, upskill where needed, adopt new technology where appropriate, and look to influence where helpful.’
