Optometrist Mona Thacker has raised £1,200 for charity after completing a skydive from 14,000 feet over Milton Keynes.
The store director of Specsavers Hoddesdon donated the money to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
She said: ‘The level of support and generosity that I’ve received from my team and customers has been overwhelming. I was a little more scared of letting them down by not going through with it than I was of jumping out of the plane itself. I’m not the kind of person who would willingly jump out of a plane but the hospice is a cause very close to my heart.’
