An optical practice now has the capacity to carry out 600 more eye exams each month after investing £90,000 updating the premises.
Specsavers in Walton on Thames, Surrey now had a ‘state-of-the-art testing facility’ installed at the 13-year-old store.
Store director Mital Patel said: ‘We’re thrilled this investment will help the local community to access vital eye screenings, which can monitor eye health and detect potential issues. The investment has seen the installation of a new test room as well as an upgraded and spacious waiting area. We’ve already had great feedback and many compliments from the customers and we’re looking to improve the eye health of the town overall.’
