
Manchester-based practice Specscart has opened a new concept store on the corner of Union Street in Bury, in line with its growth plan for 2025, after investing more than £100,000 in the shop.
Saturday, February 8, saw the 3,000 square foot retail shop open its doors with a launch event featuring eyewear giveaways, a DJ and gift vouchers.
Specscart founder and managing director Sid Sethi remarked: ‘Our new store looks nothing like the clinical, old-fashioned and quasi-medical opticians of yesterday. We want people coming in for a browse, a try on and chat just like they’d do in Zara, Gym Shark or JD Sports.’
