bristolNational charity Action for Blind People recently launched a sports club for blind or visually impaired children in Bristol.

The Bristol Actionnaires Club is the charity's 29th Actionnaires Club across England and Wales. At the official launch, blind and partially sighted children, along with their siblings and friends, had an opportunity to play goal ball - a sport originally created to rehabilitate soldiers blinded in warfare.

The club is aimed at children aged eight to 16, although younger children may attend if accompanied by an adult.
