Sting caters for youth market

Frame manufacturer De Rigo has launched a new ophthalmic collection under its Sting eyewear brand.

There are 47 metal and 20 acetate models in the collection, which features a variety of strong colours, discreet logos and small shaped frames. De Rigo says Sting is the youth brand equivalent of its Police collection, with lower price points and appropriate sizing. The collection's leading styles include model 4410, a supra design with a thin upper rim and temples. It is available in black, dark green and brown. Model 4402 (pictured) is a hexagonal oval metal frame with acetate temples. It comes in pewter, bronze and matt blue. An alternative rectangular style is model 6117, which has a silver join connecting the front of the frame with its temples.
