Students seek adventure sponsorship

Three Cardiff optometry students need to raise £750 in order to travel to Romania this September for a charity trip.

Nicola Goodall, Amy Green and Rachael O'Connell are hoping to join a team to provide free sight tests and spectacles as well as optometric training to people in a village called Brad.

'By providing a simple pair of spectacles we can restore the local peoples' means of earning a living and generally offer a better quality of life,' said Goodall.
