Sun campaign is recognised

Polaroid Eyewear has been shortlisted for a Marketing Excellence Award in the Retail Sector category at the Chartered Institute of Marketing awards.

The Best Under the Sun marketing campaign for its heritage sunglasses earned the company a place alongside consumer brands including L'Oreal and Marks & Spencer.

'We are very proud of the range concept and the campaign we created around it, so to be recognised by the marketing industry for this is particularly pleasing. To be in such prestigious company with the other finalists is a real privilege,' said Rebecca Harwood Lincoln, country manager, UK & Ireland for Polaroid Eyewear.

The campaign used vintage styles based on original Polaroids from the 1930s to the 1980s.
