Carrera has delved into its archives for two new sunglass models which were inspired by the company's 'stylistic heritage' and updated in a modern way.
Model 5530 (1) was inspired by a late 1970s design and the vintage features were brought up to date - an on-trend design with a new personality. This is a large sunglass with an off-shield shape. Also new is Carrera 6630 (2), a large geometric shield style that Carrera described as ideal for women.
Both designs use up-to-date colours including classic black, black/blue, white/black, fuchsia/white/black, blue/white/red, black/yellow/red, black/red and black/white/orange. The sunglasses are made of Optyl, Safilo Group's lightweight, strong and hypo-allergenic plastic that gave 'unparalleled colour effects'. The company added that the two new models had already won over celebrities on the international music scene who have worn them on videos, at parties and concerts.
