South London optometrist Peter Bentley (right) used all his ingenuity at his local golf club Ð including £86 in donations to the 19th holeÕs Ôswear boxÕ Ð to raise £2,200 for the Institute of Optometry. The donation, which was presented to Sir Patrick Cable-Alexander (left), director of the London-based Institute, kicked off a campaign to refurbish and re-equip the main clinic at the London-based premises. The target figure of the campaign is £35,000.
