Vittorio Tabacchi is awarded the ESA Visionary Award for 2011
European Sunglass Association (ESA) president Francesco Pellegrini (left of photo) is pictured presenting Vittorio Tabacchi from Italian manufacturer Safilo with the Association's Visionary Award for 2011, in recognition of his contribution to the sunglass industry. Acknowledging the 'innovation, professionalism and creativity' Tabacchi has brought to the international sunglass market 'for many decades', the ESA described Tabacchi as 'a global player yet with a very strong European tradition'. Tabacchi received the award at the ESA and Vision Council of America cocktail event held at the Mido 2011 exhibition in Milan.
