Tag serves up Sharapova line

Women's tennis star Maria Sharapova has been announced as an ambassador and muse to Tag Heuer Eyewear.

The company said that as well as being known for her tennis, the three-times Grand Slam champion from Siberia has also made a major impact in fashion. She has now designed and inspired a new women's range, the first ever Tag Heuer line dedicated to women.

Sharapova said that she was excited to be involved in such a project and hoped her supporters would like the Tag Heuer eyewear.

'It is a challenging process designing eyewear and requires much time and dedication to produce a quality finished product. I have worked hard with the Tag Heuer designers to develop a frame that matches our requirements: quality, comfort, with a twist of glamour. I am delighted with the results and cannot wait to get hold of a pair as I am desperate to show them off,' said Sharapova.
