The College of Optometrists has reduced the minimum number of patient episodes a pre-reg optometrist must record prior to being able to apply for the final assessments to 350 refractions and 250 dispenses.

The College of Optometrists has reduced the minimum number of patient episodes a pre-reg optometrist must record prior to being able to apply for the final assessments to 350 refractions and 250 dispenses.

The previous targets of 500 refractions and 350 dispenses had been felt by many to be too rigorous in the standard pre-registration time frame.
