Italian brand Blackfin has struck an unusual agreement with a restaurant group to create a limited edition luxury eyewear line. The brand, manufactured by Pramaor in Italy, has teamed up with Arrigo Ciprini, owner of Harry’s Bar in Venice and a string of famous Italian restaurants in New York. The Blackfin with Arrigo Cipriani line will be released at Mido next month. ‘It is an honour for us to work in partnership with Arrigo Cipriani, whose name is synonymous the world over with style and good taste in Italian cuisine,’ said Nicola Del Din, CEO of Pramaor. ‘In their own fields, both Blackfin and Cipriani are examples of excellence, of the true made-in-Italy spirit, unlike so many products on the market that I would call fake made-in-Italy, since they only pay lip-service to the ethos.’
