Menrad Optics has revealed that it has recently rolled out a new company-wide sales programme which it hopes will encourage broader take up of its product range.
The company's five-strong sales force received the new training at its annual sales conference and were given guidance on what Menrad Optics said was a more technology based sales process. Staff will now use tablet computers to show the company's brands, which it said allowed instant access to statistics, marketing materials and product ranges.
On the changes, Menrad Optics UK managing director Chris Beal said: 'The team at Menrad Optics are highly experienced in their field, with a large number of years in dealing with the current customer base. However, one of my objectives is to rapidly grow our customer pool and service existing customers even better and to do this we needed to modernise and streamline our sales techniques to ensure efficiency and results.'
