Menrad hires UK managing director

Chris Beal has been hired as the managing director of Menrad Optics in the UK. Upon making the appointment, parent company Menrad Group said Beal offered over 20 years' experience in the textile, interiors, clothing and fashion arenas.

He will be tasked with growing existing sales channels in the market and further developing Menrad's portfolio of brands, including Jaguar, Morgan and Davidoff, into untapped trading areas.

'I am delighted to have joined Menrad Optics at a very exciting time. The team has built strong foundations and now there are some fantastic opportunities to grow the company in both the traditional and fashion areas of our business,' Beal said.
