Optical Express has given a London Metropolitan Police officer free laser eye surgery as part of its Thanks a Million campaign.
David Salmon, 26, began to lose confidence during his gym workouts due to his poor eyesight. He suffered with dry and itchy eyes from wearing contact lenses and struggled to read number plates at a distance late at night when on a shift.
Salmon signed up to the Thanks a Million campaign and received LASIK surgery in both eyes.
Head of People at Optical Express, Dawn Kondol said: ‘We’re delighted to have given so many deserving people free laser eye surgery through the Thanks a Million campaign.’
