The College of Optometristsis to hold its annual Diploma presentation

The College of Optometristsis to hold its annual Diploma presentation on February 2 2009 at the Central Hall Westminster in London, with the first new Fellows under the new Portfolio Route to Fellowship being awarded at the ceremony.

The College said the ceremony recognises the achievements of newly qualified members and their success in the Scheme for Registration. At the presentation, the optical body will also recognise other achievements by members of the profession through the award of Fellowships, higher diplomas and research scholarships.

The presentation will be followed by a reception where diplomates and their guests can meet senior members of the profession and College staff and council members.
