The College of Optometrists announced its annual Open House London event on September 10, where it will be opening its doors to the public.
Visitors will get exclusive insight into the College’s historic headquarters in the West End of London and visit the British Optical Association Museum, featuring the world’s oldest collection of spectacles and vision aids. Dating back to 1901, it incorporates extraordinary advances in medical science, illustrating a timeline of the evolution of optometry over the years.
The event was designed to create access to buildings that are usually closed to the public. Walk-in visitors can attend from 12pm to 5.00pm and entrance is free.
