Thomas Pocklington Trust appoints three new trustees to its board

Thomas Pocklington Trust has appointed three new trustees to its board – Raj Mehta, Judith Potts and Sir James Pickthorn Bt.

Mehta is blind and has been working as a procurement and IT business leader at BP.

Potts launched Esme’s Umbrella four years ago, which is a campaign and awareness group for people with Charles Bonnet Syndrome after her mother died from the condition.

Sir Pickthorn established Pickthorn Estate Agent and Chartered Surveyors in 1994 and hopes to ‘raise more funds for the charity from its investments and property portfolio.’

Chair of the board at Thomas Pocklington Trust Mervyn Williamson said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Judith, Raj and James to the board. They each bring a wealth of experience in different areas that, I am sure, will be a real asset to our team.’
