Timberland finds its feet

The Timberland Company, famous for its footwear, has launched a range of frames following the introduction last spring of its first collection of performance sunglasses.

The range consists of 35 styles grouped into three collections: Hawthorn, Juniper and Sequoia. Hawthorn features metal frames with antique finishes, saddle bridges and spoon temples: Juniper is characterised by traditional styling, with metal frames, detailed tooling and zyl temples; and Sequoia is a collection of lightweight fashion forward shapes in steel colours with megol temple tips for increased comfort. Timberland adds that, as with its other products, special attention has been paid to incorporate performance features. These include spring hinges, silicon nose pads and lightweight materials. Many styles come with sunglass clip-ons the lenses of which come with anti-reflection coatings on the concave side. Further details on: 0181 481 0300.
