Tom Davies designs frames for Wonka movie

Eyewear designer Tom Davies has created two bespoke frames for the upcoming Warner Brothers’ Wonka and a further collection of seven frames inspired by the movie.

For the character Fickelgruber, Davies created a classic period-appropriate shape with a green tint to the lens, while the character Abacus required vintage frames to sit at the end of the nose.

Each of the further seven frames, created with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, has a unique or exotic feature in keeping with the film.

Optical frame Abigail smells of giraffes milk and has a screen-printed giraffe pattern on the frame and arms, while blue crystal acetate Wonk has an asymmetric design.
