Topcon has announced its third National OCT Conference will take place at the Hilton London Paddington on November 19-20.
Hosted by Topcon University, the conference will offer at least 19 CET points for optometrists as well as points for CLOs and DOs.
Workshops will cover a large range of topics, from a step by step introduction of macular scanning and interpretation for new users to innovative techniques such as OCT Angiography which aims at revolutionising the referral and monitoring of patients in primary eye care.
There will be a series of lectures aimed at those who are new to OCT to build confidence in daily practice, as well as an update on the increased utility of OCT-based tools in glaucoma diagnosis and monitoring.
Speakers already added to the line-up include Professor Donald Hood from Columbia State University, Dr Peter Maloca from the University of Basel in Switzerland and consultant ophthalmologist Konstantinos Balaskas from Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
An ‘early bird’ discount will be available during the month of August to those who pre-register their interest on the conference website.
