Topcon signs Trukera Medical distribution deal

Topcon has signed an exclusive agreement with US company Trukera Medical to distribute its ScoutPro and TearLab osmolarity system in the UK and Ireland.

Fergal Byron, senior technical products manager at Topcon, said: ‘We are delighted to have been appointed exclusive distributors for the ScoutPro and we look forward to working with the clinical team at Trukera to further develop the market opportunities for this exciting technology.’

Trukera Medical said the companies had a common goal to improve patient outcomes in cataract and refractive procedures, as well as dry eye.
