Total commitment

Cash has been pouring in for the Optician Ironman team boosting the total raised for Vision Aid overseas to more than £3,500.

Revellers at the recent Optician Awards (see next week's issue for a full round-up) added over £3,200 to the total through donations and the monies raised by the charity casino which was sponsored by GfK.

A special thank you goes to the Transitions Optical and Boots Opticians tables at the Optician Awards which between them raised £800. The latest update on the Ironman team's progress will also be published next week. Optician wishes to thank all of the companies who have pledged support for the team's training efforts.
