Transitions reacts to weather option

Transitions Optical has renewed its GMTV weather forecast sponsorship for another seven weeks.

Its two-minute slot, which continues a sponsorship deal that ran between May and July, will be seen four times a day on the breakfast television show, which is on from 6.15-8.45am. The weather forecast follows the show's news and travel updates. As before, Transitions will use characters dressed up as different weather conditions playing around a light-sensitive display to demonstrate the benefits of photochromic lenses. 'We are confident that continuing this targeted exposure will increase awareness of Transitions as all-purpose lenses which can be worn in or out of doors in all weather conditions,' says Transitions Optical managing director David Arno.
