Transitions virtual summit

Transitions Optical has set February 9 as the date for its first global virtual summit.

The company said that the event would cover the latest lens innovations, solutions from Transitions and science news through sessions delivered by expert speakers. International attendees have been encouraged, with the summit to be subtitled in 12 languages.

Tim Precious, managing director at Essilor, said: ‘The summit is the perfect opportunity for the optical industry to come together and be the first to hear about what’s new in terms of light intelligent lenses.

‘Keeping on top of these consumer insights and trends will help build business opportunities in the coming months.’
