Trevor White, senior lecturer at City & Islington College, has died. He was 60.
Well known within both the optical industry and profession, Trevor dedicated over a quarter of a century to the teaching of dispensing optics, write his colleagues.
The countless students and staff who have known him over the years in his many roles at the college will, we are sure, remember the enthusiasm and support he extended to all.
Others will remember him through the articles he contributed to a number of publications, and the lectures he made at optical meetings.
It is sad that Trevor was not able to enjoy his retirement that had been planned for summer 2004 and to embark upon the many optical projects that he envisaged.
He will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues.
