UK Vision Strategy programme director Anita Lightstone and Vision 2020 UK chair Nick Astbury were presented gifts by Lesley-Anne Alexander, chief executive of the RNIB, who said: ‘Vision 2020 has made huge strides in the past few years, and the UK Vision Strategy has grown stronger each year.

You have made a significant difference and should be very proud of the contributions you have made.’ Earlier in the day at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, delegates had been informed of NHS England’s Call to Action for eye care (see below) and updated on various actions being taken to implement UK Vision Strategy 2013-18.
