Trussardi sun range celebrates centenary

To cap its centennial celebrations, Trussardi has released an extravagant spring/summer 2012 sunglass collection. With models for both men and women, the new collection was said to express the verve, elegance and exclusivity of the brand.

Pictured from the women's range are the TD15710 (1) and TD15709 (2) models. The acetate TD15710 frame has an edgy, modified aviator silhouette, which works well with the classic Havana hue and gradient lenses. The TD15709 frame has an on-trend oversized round lens shape, with heavy, marbled acetate brow sections.

The men's TD15907 (3) also trades on the popularity of oversized round lens shapes. The 1930s-inspired frame is made from metal and acetate and features dropped temples, a metal nose bridge and an acetate brow bar. Lightly tinted blue lenses bolster the frame's retro credentials.
