UCL and Moorfields launch innovation prize with Civitas Learning

University College London (UCL) and Moorfields have launched an innovation prize in collaboration with Civitas Learning.

In order to apply for the Ophthalmic Education Innovation Prize, applicants need to submit a 500-word paper on an idea that applies technology to improve ophthalmic education and how funding will support it.

UCL and Moorfields have asked that all submissions ‘demonstrate an understanding of the digital learning ecosystem, including opportunities and potential limitations involved in delivering the project.’ The winner will receive £500 to put towards developing their idea.

The prize is open to students, researchers and professionals working in ophthalmic practice, ophthalmology and biomedical science.
