Urquhart Opticians in Ayrshire, Scotland, has adjusted aspects of its business to better cater to patients who are self-isolating due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The business has been delivering to patients at their homes, provided a free cleaning spray service and produced online self-help videos.
Peter Telfer, one of Urquhart’s owners, commented: ‘Our thoughts are with everyone affected by Covid-19 and we are grateful we can still help our community at this difficult time.
‘With so many people, particularly the elderly, now in self-isolation and reliant on social media, good vision is more important than ever.’
Clinical director at the practice, Alistair Duff, has remained available for consultations via a suite of digital resources, including video consultations.
