The University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol Eye Clinic became the first optometry school in the UK to invest in the new Reichert Tono-Vera tonometer.

Supplied by Grafton Optical, the device will support optometry students to obtain precise and consistent measurements of intraocular pressure.

Bob Keating, sales manager at Grafton Optical, said: ‘By acquiring this state-of-the-art equipment, UWE Bristol Eye Clinic is furthering its commitment to excellence in eye care teaching and learning, continuing to provide the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy for both students and patients.’

Grafton Optical supplied and installed optical equipment at UWE Bristol Eye Clinic when the £2m clinic opened in October 2020.
