Valli Opticians of Kirklees will take part in the ‘Fairandfunky’ Fairtrade conference in March which will bring together children from primary schools across Kirklees to educate about Fairtrade through creative art and workshops.
As one of the conference sponsors, the practice will also speak about Meares-Irlen Syndrome, a sensitivity to visual patterns, particularly stripes, which can affect up to 15 per cent of children.
Valli Opticians are firm supporters of the Fairtrade movement and currently offer patients Fairtrade beverages at each of their practices.
