VAO rewards members at AGM

Charity Vision Aid Overseas held its AGM Dinner and Trustees Awards Ceremony earlier this month.

More than 70 staff, trustees and charity members attended the ceremony at the Holiday Inn, Gatwick.

David Scott-Ralphs (pictured left), chairman of VAO, presented honorary life memberships and trustees awards to seven individuals, including Jeremy Jalie (also pictured), the charity’s development director who was given a ten year recognition.

Awards were also presented to volunteer Michele de Vaal, country director Kath Stott, retired optometrist Margaret Lawrence, volunteers David Mwitumwa and Ian Bowers, and warehouse freight and equipment manager Howard Payne.
