Vision Aid Overseas has proposed running training courses in the UK, France and Belgium to engage with more volunteers and members.

The proposals were part of a draft strategic plan sent to members this month from Nigel Wilson, executive director of VAO.

Wilson was presenting a new strategy, which may also include a ‘consultancy service’ to the charity’s board next month and asked for any feedback before then.

The charity also announced that the role of development director Jeremy Jalie, who is leaving after ten years, will be slightly adjusted when replacement Andy Holliday becomes director of fundraising and communication next month.
