To commemorate Vision Aid Overseas' 25th year, founding chairman Brian Ellis has updated the charity's Sight for Sore Eyes book, originally published in 2005 with results from more recent volunteer programmes.

The new online edition contains key facts about each of the eight partner countries VAO works in, along with project testimonials from team leaders.

With profits going directly towards VAO's volunteer projects, Sight for Sore Eyes documents the efforts of the 900 volunteers which up to 2005 had directly benefited over 500,000 people.

Sight for Sore Eyes is available free online at www.vao.org.uk/sightforsoreeyes. Anybody wishing to obtain a copy of the 2005 printed book for a £5 donation should email jane.lyons@vao.org.uk
