VCHP Leeds clinics receives £12k funding

Vision Care for Homeless People (VCHP) has been awarded £12,000 from LNER’s Customer and Community Investment Fund, which will fund the voluntary opticians’ services in the Leeds clinic. 

The eye care service within St. George`s Crypt Centre in Leeds included free of charge eye examinations, glasses when needed, and a referral to secondary care. 

VCHP’s general manager David Brown said that the charity was pleasing to be recognised from 400 applications and the funding will help more homeless people in the Leeds area.
