Optometrist Ian White has expressed his dismay at the lack of improvement to GOS fees for optical services and demanded change in a video posted on YouTube.
White has also set up a new website and campaign in order to ‘revolutionise the NHS sight test as we know it’. He said: ‘The system needs a complete overhaul for the benefit of all three parties, that of the NHS, the optical profession and most importantly, the patients.’
White called upon optical colleagues to get involved by posting a comment to his blog at www.GOSreform.co.uk
