OGI Eyewear's new Vintage Icon collection from the Seraphin brand has gone beyond the current crop of retro frames and used the mid 19th century as its inspiration.

Niles (1) has a slim, 1940s panto shape with period saddle bridge, cable temples and filigree detailing around the eye wire. A combination of Italian acetate and Japanese titanium, the Griggs model (2) has an oval shape with thick brow bars and classic circular chrome rivets.
