Vision Arena hits delegates for six

Conferences

Burgeoning optical event Vision Arena has entered its second year with a conference and exhibition at Lord's Cricket Ground.

Stuart Cooksey of Vision Arena's driving force Shamir said the use of iconic venues would be important to the success of the event.

Vision Arena was first staged last year with events at the Emirates Stadium, London, and The Monastery, Manchester. A third, in Scotland, was cancelled.

Delegates attending Lord's last week were offered a tour of the ground including a glimpse of The Ashes, player changing rooms and members' Long Room.

Six new brands had been added to a sponsorship list including Shamir, Transitions and Marchon. Sauflon replaced Johnson & Johnson Vision Care as the contact lens sponsor.
