Vision Expo East made its debut in Orlando, Florida, on February 19-22, after relocating from New York, offering visitors ‘bold branding and memorable experiences’.
Visitors came from 105 countries, with a growth in sought after markets, including Latin America and Puerto Rico. First-time attendees made up 44% of all delegates, predominantly from Florida, New York, California, Texas and New Jersey.
More than 270 hours of accredited continuing education were provided, covering clinical, technical and business topics, while the exhibit hall featured over 400 eye care and eyewear brands, showcasing the latest innovations and design trends.
Tennis icon Venus Williams delivered a keynote speech, while attendees were also treated to interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, industry gatherings and a ‘Flaunt the Frame’ fashion show.
‘Our move to Orlando marks an exciting new chapter for Vision Expo East, opening new doors for networking, innovation and industry growth,’ said Ashley Mills, CEO of the Vision Council. ‘We listened to our community and enhanced the show experience in meaningful ways, making this year’s event an inspiring hub of creativity, collaboration and discovery. Our inaugural show in Florida highlighted the best in eyewear and eye care, and reflects our commitment to supporting the industry at all levels as it grows.’
