Vision Express opened three new stores in July which brings the total number to 188.
One of the new practices is a joint venture in the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyhealth, Kent. It is run by optometrist Vineet Korpal and dispensing optician Scott Clark. The 84th Vision Express joint venture store in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is run by optometrist husband and wife team Ashit and Shita Shal. The third store is a Vision Express/Optical Lab opened in Brent Cross, Essex, which is run by manager Matthew Hullett and employs 28 full and part-time staff. Managing director of Vision Express Brian Douglas said: 'It is great to see the Joint Venture Initiative in action and congratulate the partners on their business acumen. He added that the Brent Cross optical lab would complement the collection of outer London stores.
