Vision Express and Al-Ain International Welfare Trust have teamed up to provide 2,000 glasses for healthcare camps across Pakistan as part of an aid programme supporting disadvantaged communities.
Al-Ain International Welfare Trust works in rural areas across the Asian subcontinent helping people who have a range of vision conditions.
Omar Hassan, head of professional services at Vision Express said: ‘We’re pleased to be in a position to help individuals overseas who are most in need of vision correction. Sight is one of our most precious senses, yet in the UK it is often neglected, despite sight loss being one of the public’s biggest fears.’
