Vistakon triumphs in football event

Leightons Opticians hosted the fifth annual Optical Football Tournament on July 8 at the TrojanÕs Sports Ground near Eastleigh in Hampshire.
Nine teams took part, representing Hilco Europe, Specsavers Opticians, Ciba Vision, Rawlings, Optique, Eye Sight, Vistakon Johnson & Johnson and Leightons.
The final, played for the Colin Hamilton Memorial Trophy was between Hilco Europe (last yearÕs winners) and Vistakon Johnson & Johnson. Vistakon emerged the winner with a final score of 6-2.
The trophy was named after the manager of LeightonsÕ Basingstoke branch who lost his battle with cancer five years ago.
It was described as a fun day out for all the family with face painting and a bouncy castle for the children.
