Vitamin formula for the eyes

Eye health

Launched this month is a new range of vitamins aimed at reducing the risk of macular degeneration, called Viteyes.
The supplements contain the same combination of antioxidant vitamins and minerals recommended in a 10-year study carried out by the National Eye Institute (NEI), said Viteyes.
The Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS) claimed that people at high risk of developing advanced stages of macular degeneration lowered their risk by 25 per cent by taking this combination of antioxidant vitamins and minerals.
The company said that Viteyes provided an alternative to existing products by offering AREDS Formula, AREDS Formula + Lutein and Smokers Formula + Lutein. Each bottle provides three months' supply.
Viteyes is available online at www.viteyes.co.uk.
