VIU launches pop-up store in Marylebone

Eyewear brand VIU has opened up a pop-up store in Marylebone Lane, London following the opening of its first UK flagship store in Soho.

The pop-up store will be a creative and collaborative space that will host regular events, workshops and discussions.

VIU’s design team, led by creative Director Fabrice Aeberhard, said that it ‘set out to preserve most of the original features of the Victorian building including an extensive glass store front rather than completely remodelling the space, finding a subtle and natural way of injecting VIU’s design DNA.’

The team installed oak wood surfaces and dotted plants around the space to ‘reinforce the raw and stripped back interior concept, avoiding anything too synthetic or perishable.’
