The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers is now accepting submissions for the 2020 Masters Medal and the 2020 Ruskell Medal.
The Masters Medal is awarded annually to a competition winner and is intended to encourage those undertaking higher degrees to publish their work. Applications are invited from those who have had their first research paper accepted for publication in a refereed scientific journal between July 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020.
The Ruskell Medal will be awarded to the first named author of the best submitted paper in the fields of ophthalmology or visual science published during the same qualifying period as the Masters Medal.
